據(jù)TABNI網(wǎng)站2020 年8月2日多哈報道，液化天然氣事件系列指導(dǎo)委員會（LNG Events Series Steering Committee）日前宣布，卡塔爾已被選為第21屆國際液化天然氣大會暨展覽會(LNG2025)的主辦國。

液化天然氣事件系列指導(dǎo)委員會主席、國際天然氣聯(lián)盟(IGU)主席喬·M·康教授宣布，決定第21屆國際天然氣大會暨展覽會主辦國的競爭過程已經(jīng)結(jié)束。

康教授代表此次大會的3個組織者IGU、氣體技術(shù)研究所(GTI)以及國際制冷學(xué)會(IIR)說：“卡塔爾在未來的全球液化天然氣行業(yè)的關(guān)鍵角色，以及卡塔爾已為《LNG2025》提出的創(chuàng)新，使其成為世界首要液化天然氣行業(yè)活動的理想東道主。"

這將是國際液化天然氣大會第二次在卡塔爾舉行。第一次是在2004年，當(dāng)時多哈主辦了第14屆國際液化天然氣大會。

卡塔爾能源事務(wù)國務(wù)大臣、卡塔爾石油公司總裁兼首席執(zhí)行官卡阿比說：“我們很高興獲得了在世界上最大液化天然氣生產(chǎn)公司的家里召開這一久負(fù)盛名的全球液化天然氣大會的主辦權(quán)。LNG2025將在正確的時間，正確的地點(diǎn)舉行。"

國際液化天然氣大會暨展覽會每3年舉行一次，是業(yè)界最認(rèn)可的液化天然氣大會，有數(shù)千名代表、演講者、參展商、貿(mào)易參觀者和其他行業(yè)專業(yè)人士參加。

第19屆國際液化天然氣大會（LNG2019）是在上海舉辦的，即將舉行的LNG2022將在俄羅斯圣彼得堡舉行。

Qatar to host 21st global LNG conference

The LNG Events Series Steering Committee has announced that Qatar has been selected as the host country for LNG2025, the 21st International Conference and Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas

Professor Joe M Kang, the Chair of the LNG Events Series Steering Committee, the International Gas Union (IGU) President, made the announcement marking the conclusion of a competitive process to decide the event’s 2025 host.

Prof. Kang, representing the three owners of the event: the IGU, the Gas Technology Institute (GTI), and the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR), said: “Qatar’s key role in the future of the global LNG industry and the innovations it has proposed for LNG2025 made it an ideal host for the world’s premiere LNG industry event.”

This will be the second time this global LNG event takes place in Qatar. The first time was in 2004, when Doha hosted LNG 14.

Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of Qatar Petroleum, said: “We are pleased to be awarded the hosting rights for this prestigious global event to convene at the home of the world’s largest LNG producer. LNG2025 will be held at the right time, in the right place.

Held every three years, the International Conference and Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas is the industry’s most recognized LNG event, and is attended by thousands of delegates, speakers, exhibitors, trade visitors, and other industry professionals. The last edition, LNG2019, was held in Shanghai and the upcoming LNG2022 will be hosted in St. Petersburg, Russia.
